**Sorry this post is late. Having some internet connectivity issues here**
All right. This is the week I fell off the wagon last time. I got to week 4, Organize your priorities, and bam. I just... stopped. But I'm back in the saddle.
Before I get back into week 4, let me tell you what I got done in week 3. Cleaning! We've started following our cleaning schedule, which I talked about here. The one thing we really nailed last week as far as cleaning is diapers. We use cloth diapers on both our children, which means we do a lot of diaper laundry. (I swear, sometime I will write a post all about cloth diapers, they're surprisingly easy.) We have a habit of letting the diaper laundry go and then running out. Not anymore! We nailed it, and haven't run out of diapers for either child in two weeks.
Now. Back to week 4. Organizing your priorities. I'm excited for this. I did it a little bit with my new year's goals, because really, what are new year's goals if not deciding where your priorities are going to be this year? But I'm going to take it a step further this year.
One thing N and I have started doing is taking a few moments before we go to bed, and documenting something we're grateful for. We downloaded a gratitude app to my phone, and our goal is to have 365 things at the end of the year that we are grateful for. Sometimes they're deep, and sometimes they're shallow, but in the end, we're grateful for every one of them.
Just like I said in my last post about organizing your priorities, I'm going to bust out my pretty journal for this, and document what I decide. One thing I think is important is to keep your priorities fairly pared down. I'm going to aim for no more than 10 priorities, because I want to be able to focus time and effort to my priorities without losing quality along the way.
So there you have it. Week 4 coming up! Off the top of your head, what do you think your priorities are going to be?
