Sweatshop to nursery, step 1.

We've started the process of converting the sweatshop (ostensibly a guest room, but it usually deviated into a storage closet. A giant one.) there's a lot of junk in there, so it's baby steps.

First step? Getting rid of the dresser that was in there. It's a lovely dresser, but nowhere near large enough for a baby. We got it for free from my mother, so after offering it back to her, she told us to just sell it and keep the cash.

I posted it on Craigslist this morning and within 20 minutes it was sold. I originally asked for $50, thinking I could unload it for $25. The lady offered $40 and I sold it. It's now in it's new home and there's one thing checked off my list.

  1. Craigslist rocks!! We posted a elliptical machine that was just taking up space. It was gone and sold within 4 hours. Woot! Woot!
