Recipe: Pulled Pork

Pulled Pork

3-4 lbs boneless pork shoulder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cumin
½ tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp paprika

Combine and rub into pork. (If you're picky about your meat, trim as much fat off as you can before cooking. Much easier than trying to do it later.) Place meat in slow cooker along with the following:

1 sliced bell pepper
1 sliced medium onion
18oz jar BBQ sauce (I recommend Jim Daddy's BBQ Sauce)
1/4 - ½ cup brown sugar (depending on the spicy vs. sweet you prefer)

Cook 10 hours on low. Should fall apart.
