mmm.... Books.

I was virtually running around, reading the blogs I read on a daily basis, and I came across this post at After I Do. I love the Harry Potter franchise. I initially refused to read them, much like I did the Twilight books (but that's another post) because something so popular can't be good, can it? But, while counseling at a camp, I fell into the first book, and I was sunk. So when I came across that trailer, I got a little fan-girly.

This whole thing got me thinking, what books can you read over and over and over again? i've lost count of the number of times I've read the HP series, I can pick up Jennifer Crusie's "Bet Me", open to any page, and immediately be immersed, and I've read "A Wrinkle in Time" so much I'm on my third copy. I have eclectic tastes, I like some non-fiction, romance, historical, young adult, children's, classics, all sorts of genres, but those are the three books/series I go back to over and over again.

What is your go-to book? Or series? Is there a great read you can read over and over, or do you read, finish, and move on with your life? Any great book recommendations? I do have that snazzy Nook to load up!

  1. I have a tough time reading books more than once. If it's a non-fiction reference type book (like on personal finance or the like) then I'll refer back to it often, but I don't think that really counts. I can read a good romance novel multiple times (I'm a sucker for a love story), but I don't tend to read fiction more than once.
